I'm rather a fan of [ox-hugo](<a href="https://ox-hugo.scripter.co/" rel="nofollow">https://ox-hugo.scripter.co/</a>) for similar purpose. There's more to understand upfront, but since the output target is Hugo, you can modify/eject from Org with zero effort.
What's the best way to access those micro-blogs?<p>Those micro-blogging tools make it easy for the writer, but at least for me, the content is not easy to follow. It's Facebook vs Myspace to the extreme: every blog has a different interface with few social network features.<p>If I follow 1000 micro-bloggers, on busy days, how can I skip the less interesting posts without having to look at them?
The author's linked page has a horizontal scroll, which seems non-ideal to me
