Aisle50 (YC S11) seeks a front-end blaster

1 pointsby Gaussianover 13 years ago
Aisle50 is disrupting the way grocery coupons are disseminated, tracked, marketed and redeemed. We offer discounted promotions on our site, consumers pay us, and then we load credit for that item to their grocery store loyalty card. We give food manufacturers the ability to target, track and follow up on their deals. In short, the business of marketing food is a big one ($35b+) and we do it better than anybody else.
We launched in August. We’re looking for a front-end developer who can help our website evolve. We need somebody with a touch of design prowess to go along with experience in current web standards, such as HTML5 and jQuery. Some Rails experience is preferred.
You will be our point person on the front-end. This is an important job. You will be one of the first employees at Aisle50 and will reap the bounty that comes with such a designation, including: a real equity stake, competitive salary, health benefits, sandwiches and Anchor Steam. Please do not request Heineken; we won’t serve it.
This job is in CHICAGO.
Applicants should have some way to share their portfolio with us. We need to see sites you’ve helped put together.
To apply, please email me with sites you’ve worked on and your roles at each one: chris AT aisle50.com
