This is a really interesting list for highlighting the gap between Data Scientists and the folks they serve.<p>Honestly though, in all my time as an engineer (including in Data Science) my best ideas/breakthroughs have come from a non-technical person asking what seemed like a stupid question, often along the lines of "Could we use AI to do X?" Usually I end up dismissing them outright, only to have the question stew in my brain for 2-3 weeks before hitting on an "aha moment" that solves their use case.
