The best cure for boredom is to cultivate tolerance for boredom by doing boring things without listening to music or watching youtube at the same time. Just sit there and draw or whittle or carve wood or do the dishes or play solitaire with a physical deck of cards. No music. No instagram.
A small way to start this journey: don't take your phone in the bathroom. Don't read the shampoo bottle instead. Just sit there and do your business without being constantly stimulated.
Try prayer or meditation. Eventually, you won't feel compelled to build Comic Sans eyesores to chase the anxiety away.
Am I weird? I never get bored. My problem is that I don’t feel I have enough time and energy to do everything that I want to do.
I have a bunch of things I want to learn, a bunch of side projects I want to complete, a bunch of books I want to read, one or two books I want to write. Trying to do all that while still working and caring for family and doing the day to day responsibilities makes me wish for more hours in a day.
The design is so abhorrent ugly, I stopped after three clicks, before I got anywhere fun. If you want others to enjoy your toy, perhaps style it in a somewhat more "popular" way?
The site has good content; I particularly like the “useful” section. I won’t even complain about the design too much like some people, but just to give some feedback I think that the font used on the subcategories, links, and descriptions is difficult to read, especially when in all caps (e.g., FOR SCIENCE).
