If Artificial Intelligence Were to Become Sentient, How Would We Know?

I don't think we currently have the technology to create a sentient AI. I don't think this is truly an issue right now. I think that mastering the technology to create a sentient AI would require more understanding of why and how we are sentient.

Try to unplug it and see if it becomes angry.
