It's a banking holiday. I have the day off and so does nearly everyone I know who works a white collar job.<p>At the software company I work at, there was some acknowledgement for it, but for the most part it's been completely overshadowed by Pride month.
Yes we have it off. Big Tech firm - acknowledged it with a day of learning but no day off, which is not fun especially for parents whose kids' schools do close on Monday
