What would be the impact on the earth's tidal system if it had either rings plus the moon, or rings instead of the moon?
Are rings uniform on their gravital imprint on a planet?
Meaning - would tides cease if we had a ring(s) instead of a moon? It would apear so, and thus, wouldnt this impact the precession angle? However, we can see by recent posts of tracking saturn that it appears that saturn has a precesssion period of a very short time - a decade or so - as opposed to the earths 26,900 year precession...
(and whats even more crazy is ancient civilizations who knew of the precession and built calendars around it.) ((The pyramid of Chitchenitza is a calendar, detailing the various galactic cycles.
Source, I toured these and learned from the Mayan Elder; Hunbatz Men.
https://www.council-of-world-elders.de/en/members/hunbatz-me...
