In US corporations that hire for narrow departmental specialties that stay with the company for a few years at best, most definitely.<p>In European corporations that hire for cross-functional talent that can move around and stay with the company for a long time, founders are a much more welcomed breed.<p>I can’t speak to other countries.<p>The above is based on my own experience, that of founder friends, and an interesting exchange with the US and EU heads of one of the largest headhunter firms in the world.
