Even as someone who doesn't like smoking, I don't like how the FDA treated them. It didn't seem clear or fair, after they had become this multi billion dollar company the FDA started saying they couldn't sell or market their products. They should have done this in a more open and transparent way imo
It's interesting how even the example leading that Wired article is of someone who was already a cigarette smoker who switched to Juul. The moral panic about vaping has always been ridiculously overblown, almost as if the anti-vaping groups were funded by the cigarette companies.
