I can't say that I blame them. Quick, short, easy to digest videos that get to the point.<p>Youtube <i>used</i> to be that way until it got littered with ads, pre-rolls, etc and creators were essentially penalized for making short videos. YouTube videos have become way too drawn out.<p>TikTok is perfect for the shorter attention span audience.
Don't use either of those.<p>Currently I can't recommend any search engine. DuckDuckGo seems to be the least-bad, but they have begun to apply some political censorship of certain content, which is bad. At least they - hopefully - don't disclose people's search histories to 3rd parties.
