I think the type f (schuko) is better, it has no fuse in the cabel, but you don't have to worry about the side which you put it in and both of the holes where power gets through are usually protected against screwdrivers, there has to be equal pressure to get access to the power. Ground is like the british the first with contact and its hard to pull it out.

One plug to rule them all. Now that most applicances have power supplies that can automatically adapt to different voltages and 50/60Hz, isn't it about time we standardised on an world plug and socket that everyone can adopt over time and use alongside national standards?
