Video shows the turbine <i>after</i> being struck by lightning, not the lightning strike itself. One of its blades is on fire.

There must be some mechanism to mitigate lightning strikes. Feathering the blades? Applying the brakes? Neither will put out the fire -- but it will be less click-worthy... and maybe the cows, below, will appreciate not having debris rain down on them.
