The majority that the new party is trying to cater to exists but it's the majority that has always existed and is more concerned with their everyday lives rather that politics. They might get involved once the 2 sides of an issues have defined it and then they either pick a side or widthdraw all together and complain about how bad politics has gotten. It's impossible to unify this group since they aren't usually engaged on any one issue for very long.<p>The new party is a great idea but it's unlikely to go anywhere. I really hope I'm wrong.
