It should be mentioned that warming climate means that the UK is getting, and will get, <i>more</i> rainfall than it used to. The main issue the UK is facing is not lack of water but lacking infrastructure to store and regulate water (it&#x27;s all about drought now, but I&#x27;m sure it will be all about floods this winter).<p>Growing dry-loving plants in the UK is usually challenging because while it is dry right now, over the winter the ground can remain wet for months, so you often need to take steps to actually keep those plants <i>dry</i> in winter to prevent them from rotting (they also withstand cold much better when dry).
