Alternative to Sublime and Markdown

4 pointsby slategruenalmost 3 years ago
I am currently using Sublime as my primary Markdown editor. Everything's perfect except for one thing: scrolling on Linux with a touchpad is terrible. I really like the third-party packages Sublime has i.e. syntax highlighting ( with MarkdownEditing) and automatic table creation (with Table Editor). I couldn't find any other apps that has all these features.

Have you tried Obsidian[1]? It's not a general purpose editor like Sublime, but is a great Markdown editor, if that's your main use case.
I still use Sublime a lot, and touchpad works fine on Mac, and with mouse on Linux. Not sure why touchpad on Linux wouldn't work properly.
[1] https://obsidian.md
