One of my best friends lives in New Orleans, so I tend to pay attention to what's going on in the Atlantic even though I'm situated in the Midwest. I don't remember what, but something prompted my curiosity a few days ago about this year's hurricane season and I realized that I hadn't heard ANYTHING about tropical storms. Wikipedia confirmed[1] that it has been very uneventful.
[1]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Atlantic_hurricane_season

It's hard to gain click traction without alarming FUD. I, for one, welcome this news and celebrate it with an upvote!
