Almost a month ago we kicked-off our newsletter on generativeai.net, which is our webpage where we advertise our online course on the same topic.
Topic:
Generative AI - the generative side of artificial intelligence with huge leaps these days, e.g. DALLE-2, Midjourney, Bloom, GPT-3 etc. All around AI models that are able to generate data with great quality, and other breakthroughs.
What our newsletter is about:
We are breaking down complex relationships into bite-sized, well-explained info as well as provide an optimistic, motivational outlook on how this tech could be utilised on the product-side of things, suggesting potential business ideas. As we aim to provide sophisticated content, prior to releasing an episode we discuss it with a few subject matter experts that we know.
Open questions to us:
And this is exactly the point - only with a few SMEs. We believe that there is so much more of information and knowledge in our (~1000 data scientists) community that it's a pity not channeling the knowledge and feeding off each others ideas.
How could we increase interactivity within this newsletter, fostering an idea powerhouse?
Do you know about best practices to get the most out of it?
Your feedback and thoughts would be very valuable to us, and we appreciate your time thinking about it.
BR,
MM
P.S.: One idea we had was to form a Facebook group and have questions there. However I know that a) many of the subscribers don't use FB much and b) I am afraid of losing valuable subscribers along the platform transition.
