The UFCW also helped facilitate two tier wage systems where new workers get compensated significantly worse than existing workers, so this isn’t the first time they’ve helped disenfranchise the members they supposedly represent.

&quot;Uber gave the union the right to represent its 100,000 Canadian drivers and delivery couriers in job-related disputes&quot;<p>How can Uber grant this right? Wouldn&#x27;t it be up to the workers to choose who represents them in the case of a labour dispute such as this?
