Bupropion works very fast by itself, where it works at all. Most likely people who benefit from bupropion get no benefit from the DXM, and vice versa.<p>So maybe this is supposed to be a scattershot to try two things that might work. If it comes back after a week without, it was the BUP that worked, otherwise the DXM.

If it’s just cough suppressant and buspar, I imagine it could be prescribed off-label instead.

So it&#x27;s Wellbutrin and cough syrup, seriously? Could this be as simple as getting a Wellbutrin RX and taking it with cough suppressant? Surely...surely not?

This is DXM, a dissociative like ketamin, found in cough medications like Robotussin. You can get quite high on it.
