There's a few businesses that I think are running into a wall pretty quick now and I think they have the same key flaw, they didn't run their businesses with the appropriate level of rigour in the good times and now they aren't in good shape in the bad times. We can add Klarna to the likes of Bird Scooters and Coinbase.
This company opened an office in my city and proceeded to send some of the spammiest recruiting emails I've ever received. I spent all of 10 minutes reading up on them, and blocked future emails, since I did not expect them to survive past the year.<p>That was this January.
Seems like they were profitable up to 2019, then drank the VC koolaid and took in tons of new capital to 'grow aggressively' to justify ridiculous 'tech' valuations.
