I was curious peoples thoughts on starting a company doing services work first to gain clients, then move to being a product company?<p>Is this more challenge than its worth? Id love to hear peoples experience.<p>Thank you

It&#x27;s not the YC or typical VC way, but for certain industries - its basically one of the best ways to get going. Healthcare in the US and legal comes to mind. These profession promote for risk-averse behaviors, so selling a predictable service to them then going for a product makes sense.
