I think once we &#x27;REI-ified&#x27; cultural (mis)appropriation, this was always coming. I believe many cultures, Balinese, Maori, Chinese have observed that misguided use of their cultural and religious symbols in tattoos are deeply offensive (e.g. adornment with images of the Buddha)<p>Really the complaint is only to enabling things like this: Nothing will stop people using photoshop to do it by hand (for instance)

I&#x27;d like to see an interview with people on the street where this kind of stuff is concerned, not professional whingers like activists. My bet is that regular people would be happy to share their culture.
