I would rather like a coordinated effort with Firefox. I would never ship nor build web apps that work only on one browser.

Fortunately (or ironically) Apple slow adaption of new APIs and their restrictions on iOS browsers will make this effort incomplete. Or at least would force google not to push these as they want but with some cross references.<p>That&#x27;s of course if I am not missing a point here.

No, the reality is that native apps should be able to do far less than they currently can!<p>While ignorance is bliss, computer security is woeful.

As long as app stores are able to skim their take, expect Apple and Google alike to continue slow rolling browser capabilities.
