What concerns me is that there will be tensions between a federal decision, and what goes on in local jurisdictions. In a Jane Fonda interview recently, she opines that people should be paying more attention to local elections. "One Federal Decision" bill [1] seems to want to put a lot of power into federal hands (no matter which - if any - political party is in power). (I'd like to be wrong about this).<p>>Congress should expand One Federal Decision, a process that establishes a lead federal agency for the environmental review of transportation projects, to all infrastructure projects.
