I just now did a speedtest.net run on my Starlink connection, with no other network traffic running: 14.22 Mbs down / 8.76 Mpbs up.<p>OK, that's pretty crap. But before Starlink my best option was DSL at around 8 down / 1.5 up. So for me the new "crap" is about a 75% improvement on the old hotness, at about the same price. With that competition they'll have to do even worse to lose my business.
I'm wondering if this is an issue with coverage. In southern Michigan, I've only observed Starlink getting faster, but anecdotally it looks like a lot of people are having issues.
