Hate speech is protected by the First Amendment. It's totally legal.
Why, you ask? Well read Machiavelli's The Prince. He speaks the prince ought to be loved and feared, or simply feared if he cannot be both. Further the only thing that prince must himself fear and avoid is hatred. Hatred is the response to raping and stealing. So Machiavelli says, don't rape or steal, and you won't be hated--he says property and honor, but that's what it means.
But then some psychologists and shrinks got some focus groups together and said, OK, can we tell everybody hatred is bad for your body, it leads nowhere ever in the History we allow you to read, and further never ever let anybody read the passage in the King James Bible:
"I hate them with perfect hatred. // I call them mine enemies." KJV Psalms
If that can be accomplished, maybe the prince wouldn't be so restricted from doing what is in the best interests of his people. Marketing campaign against hatred, make hate speech illegal like they're trying to now (in some ways already have).
Always ask when someone says hatred is wrong, which already is an arrogation of moral authority above the Bible, again, ask: "Are you a shrink or a Viking? Rape and pillage?"
It is up to the powerful to conform to the rules set by the population. Without marketing campaigns against entire human emotions, including also anger and jealousy, like make them illegal, screen for them. Yeah. Never been a reason to be angry. Never be jealous of a man raping your wife. If he's doing it, it's because those better than you deemed it was best for you to tolerate that. Tolerance. Tolerate. Patience. De-escalate. Violence is bad, bad bad, you're a bad boy for being violent, it doesn't matter who started it, violent violent violent violent racist rapist racist rapist racist rapist WHITE--dude. Did they give all that same advice to the aggressor? He sure took it didn't he!
I can't genuinely feel hatred because I don't have a stress response, but if I could, I would feel it, when it made sense to. It's pretty simple, hatred means never cooperating and always defecting with another player in game theory forever because you decided he wanted to exploit you. It's not automatically a bad strategy. In fact, if it's slandered so much, there's got to be something to it.
