As a gen-Z denizen, I found it interesting to hear criticisms of the web from an older person's perspective:<p>* social media as swinging back to the decentralization of Usenets<p>* the never-resolved tension between a social network's barrier to entry and content quality<p>* API and Standards obfuscation by centralized web giants<p>* talent capture by giant companies<p>Also, I never knew such a thing as Multics existed. Unix is all I ever knew.
