LATER: I notice that the URL now starts with 'https' rather than the original 'http'. I wonder if that's why you're not getting there. Check the URLs in your bookmarks.
If you are interested some particular reddit group and teddit.net is "too slow", can set a script to curl that url at some moderate interval. Every 60 minutes seems to be enough for instant access.
