An almost religious case for Rust

I usually use JavaScript, but C&#x2F;Zig when I need that kind of power, because you can&#x27;t get that power in Rust either without unsafe. Rust makes sense as a replacement for C++, it doesn&#x27;t make sense as a replacement for JavaScript or C. It&#x27;s definitely not the jack of all trades like people treat it, though it is definitely a master of none.<p>As a cult it is fairly benign at least, most projects don&#x27;t need Rust, but it&#x27;s your time and money you are wasting. People like wasting time mucking around with tools as if they are anything but the means to do something more important.
