Oh, stop making sense, you... :)<p>I've found Musk fanboys to only be worse at downvoting / flagging any criticism than Apple fanboys whenever you mention privacy is just PR BS peddled while they're building their ad empire.
There’s some decent criticism in the video. I don’t really understand the hate on the bot. Of course it looks less impressive when compared to companies doing robotics for decades.<p>Also, as someone that does private equity, I will never not cringe when people pulls out charts. It’s true TSLA is down… but that goes for Rivian and Ford too, in fact, those companies are doing “worse” using the video’s criteria. If you’re trying to use returns to imply a company is doing “bad” - you would measure its divergence from similar companies, sector or market as a whole.<p>Other than that, I do wish people would stick to the legitimate criticism, because the rest of the video does a decent job of that. I really admire Musk for just how well he has pushed multiple industries over the years… but he could also learn to just chill a bit.
The robot is not at all impressive. It started at most a few years ago. I am more excited about how the robot will look in 5 years time. One thing that Tesla is known for is delivering, albeit sometimes very very late. But they do delivery.
