Even the summary at the bottom was a confusing mess, and I know exactly what they&#x27;re talking about. USB-IF really bungled the naming convention. They could have added updated and amended versions of the 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.0 specs as specific conventions - Something like &quot;USB 3.0 Power-Only (3.2 interoperable)&quot;, while keeping the important part of their names (USB 3.0) and adding clear descriptors (Power-Only) and specifying that they were, in fact, still part of the modern 3.2 standard. Instead, we got a muddled mess.
