From personal experience, keep fit, particularly keep the weight off. Try to avoid overdoing any single form of exercise so as to protect the cartilage in the joints. Don’t turn things up to 11 so as to protect your hearing - hearing aids work wonders but they’re nowhere near as good as natural hearing. Don’t be an asshole; be noticed by your absence rather than your presence. Help out, be valuable to others.<p>These might not keep you from aging but it will keep you relevant in a positive way, which will keep you younger and engaged. Of course, you have to be lucky but as every article says, biochemistry and medicine is doing it’s part to help out. I’ll let others handle the kids and money discussion, but hopefully you get to have all you need. Sadly, basically nobody gets all they want but a few can tailor their wants appropriately.
With all the research coming out that says exercise is the best way to combat the deterioration of aging, joint health does seem like one of those momentum eroding pitfalls. I know Beff Jezos has his anti-aging startup, but the topic has me wondering what kind of research there is presently into joint health longevity.
