My personal experience is that I've been smoking more and more weed to get the same high or to get even higher than before. This in turn has led me to some nights where I thought about some truly scary things. Extreme paranoia. Suicidal thoughts even though I never had any before. It was shocking.
I'm now much more aware of what high THC dosage can do to a person if not careful. While some may find the OP's article as propaganda against weed, I find that it confirms a belief that I've discovered on my own: Smoking a lot of weed can be really dangerous psychologically.
Right now, I've restricted myself to only smoking the herb itself through a bong and a vape which reduce the intensity. No strong edibles. No wax. No dabs. No concentrates. And I only smoke with others as a social event, like social drinking.
Also, I recommend a month long break. It'll reset your tolerance so you don't need to consume more THC to get the same high as before.
