This <i>appears</i> to be an unbiased way to give developers the ability to point to permissively licensed source code and say, &quot;look, this fragment is open source, therefore I&#x27;m not infringing by copying it.&quot;<p>There are caveats but this seems to be a move in the right direction.

So does this mean that Github considers mass copyright violations are not problematic if a corporation uses a computer program to do it?
