There&#x27;s a lot of detail going into the explanation here, which I feel is aiming at perfectionists, who will already be doing something along similar lines, so it serves as affirmation.<p>In order to aim at general developers who would normally be guilty of commits like &quot;PR comments&quot; and &quot;fix&quot;, you want a very concise soundbite that&#x27;s easy to remember.<p>I normally say this in my head &quot;If applied, this commit will:&quot; and then write the commit message. Not perfect, but doesn&#x27;t have to be.
