Paris overtakes London to become Europe’s biggest stock market

The UK is in deep, deep, trouble. Economically, socially and politically.

Related, in 2021 Amsterdam surpassed London in terms of volume of trade on stock exchanges.

It's going to take a few years but the UK is on the express lane to 3rd world status.

I suspected this is about currency exchange rates, and along about the third paragraph I saw it.

Since the advent of stock exchanges, is this the first time London has not been the largest in Europe?
