i don't know, after linus tovalds probably the only guy i can "trust" online would be gorhill hands down.<p>that guy is a legend and his reputation has helped maintain this sense of a helpful community that is the internet.<p>i was an ABP+noscript user till i think 2011 or 2012. then for a few years i only used noscript but ublock origin quickly swept me over. i have this itch that forces me to take command over any machine in front of me (mine or someone else's) to install ubo on it so that they can thank me later.<p>internet surfing without UBO is like having unprotected sex in the back alley with a random stranger. Its really really bad.
