Honestly I don't remember the last time I saw someone smoking. My 10 year old Australian kids and I visited Canada. They asked me what stunk while we were on a walk. Someone was walking in front of us and smoking. They 100% didn't know what the smell was.<p>I don't know about NZ, but I suspect if it's anything like Australia it won't really be a problem.
