Vonnegut&#x27;s _Player_Piano_. In particular, I keep thinking back to this 1950s view of a computer driven society, based on 1950s computers. &quot;He was convicted by the court computer, and we even replaced all the vacuum tubes to make sure it was an accurate verdict&quot;. Mind boggling to think about how many transistors would be involved in modern day society and what replacement of them would involve (time, cost, landfill).<p>I also really enjoyed _Project_Hail_Mary_.

I read Atomic habits by James Clear which set me off on a rather interesting personal journey. Didn’t think i would enjoy the book but i found it rather interesting.
