Using ChatGPT to write and direct a film in a weekend

The more I see things like this, the more convinced I get that what most impresses us about ChatGPT is at the same time its greatest weakness: it responds to everything EXACTLY the way we expect it to.<p>Ask it to do <i>anything</i> creative, and it&#x27;ll respond with the most obvious, mundane, cliched answer you could imagine.<p>Try asking it to come up with names for a Twitter type app, for instance, and no matter how much additional instruction you give it, it&#x27;ll come back with &quot;Chirp&quot;, &quot;Tweety&quot;, &quot;TwitHub&quot; etc. etc. The most boring, obvious selection of names you could ever imagine. The same seems to be true with anything; ask it to write poems or songs, and after a while you&#x27;ll start noticing that what you get is basically a limited selection of templates with some keywords changed.<p>AI has ridiculous potential, for sure, but it isn&#x27;t quite yet where many people seem to think it is.

don’t give these people attention. This script sucks, everyone can see it sucks, and it distracts from the real possibilities of chatgpt-like models
