Elon is paying a large amount, certainly in the billions per year, for the privilege of running Twitter. Either in interest on loans, or opportunity cost of investing the lump sum he paid elsewhere.<p>In effect, his salary is <i>negative</i> a billion dollars a year or more.<p>So, sorry, minimum wage doesn't cut it. Musk was the low bidder for the job by a huge amount. <i>Why do you think they were so eager to give it to him?</i>
