I went electric last year and considered a few things:
* I wanted a small family SUV with good range
* I don't care about any self driving features and don't trust it
* I wanted Android Auto/CarPlay
* I don't want to be locked into a charging network controlled by my car's manufacturer, and the Tesla CCS adapter wasn't available
Although I liked the Model Y I picked up a VW ID4. It's been fine so far (13k miles). For my next car I am even less inclined to choose Tesla with all the Musk shit. I don't want to advertise that I support that guy.
I don't understand his obsession with Twitter to the point that he's destroying his reputation and bringing his other companies down as part of the crazy train ride. He could have just streamlined Twitter a bit, opened up their content policies a lot more in line with "free speech" and then left it to a CEO that would share his vision, then let what happen happen. Instead he looks like just another narcissistic, almost cultish, CEO like that WeWork guy.
