Ask HN: LastPass hack: deleted LP accounts?

3 pointsby gwicks56over 2 years ago
Wondering if anyone knows if LastPass deletes customer data when you leave the service? I deleted my account a few years ago and moved to 1Password, but copied the data over, didn't change any passwords. So basically I'm wondering if I should still change a bunch of passwords, or if LastPass deletes data when a user leaves their service?

I&#x27;d just change the passwords for your important accounts (banking, email, facebook, etc.) just to be safe.<p>It&#x27;s good to regularly change those 5-10 passwords on a bi-monthly basis anyway.
