Ask HN: What are your methods to search the web efficiently?

If you’re trying to find Authentic story and people, rather than “15 best tips for..” “10 things you need to do…”? Other than appending hacker news or reddit to your query?

Google, though it's going down hill fast.
The Internet Archive is quite helpful for finding older technical documentation, etc.
Newspapers.com if you really want to dig into something. I learned all sorts of things about all the people who lived on my little street in the past 100 years, and in the house we occupy.
:: What is it you really want to know?

Begin by searching for `news aggregators', one I use daily is Daily Rotation which allows you to set default news feeds you're currently interested in. https://www.dailyrotation.com/
