Ask HN: Magazines Similar to Increment and ACM Queue

4 pointsby rnjailambaover 2 years ago
I've enjoyed the deep dives into a topic that Increment(https://increment.com/) and ACM Queue (https://queue.acm.org/) excel at. They essentially pick a broad topic and dig fairly deep.
As an example, say you are a backend engineer and need to begin frontend. I'd pick up the frontend exposition of Increment(https://increment.com/frontend/) as a starting point vs anything else.
Are there any similar magazines or websites?

IEEE Spectrum and Computer magazines are also good, the former is not programming or IT centric at all, of course, but it's almost always been a good read. Computer also often has a kind of "deep dive" feel in its issues, though not always.
Here is the TOC for the current issue of Computer: https://www.computer.org/csdl/magazine/co/2022/12
