Most computer-based office work is taking some input, making sense of it, and outputting some more human-centric transformation of it. Which is what chatgpt/LLM does.
Financial analysts, lawyers & legal aides, accountants, content creation & marketing, sales, customer service, programmers, etc. etc.
This is most of what the middle class does, no? What are people supposed to do instead?
The issue is you can't just send Chat GPT output to your clients if you're aiming for accuracy and quality. It will be able to augment your job but not replace you.
Also, you can't ask it questions like "what happened in the market last week" without compiling the information about "last week" and going through it. Then you have to read the output anyway and make sure it is accurate and what you want to send to a client.
