I really don't care what a car review site thinks about geopolitics. Obviously they want to branch out from consumer vehicles into writing about the defense industry, which depends heavily on transport capabilities. But you know, that's like a dessert recipe website branching out into discussions of naval warfare, on the basis that sailors also need feeding.<p>To some extent good information is where you find it, but I think it's wise to seek out sources with a track record of expertise rather the aura that branding creates. I don't look to journals of international relations for advice on consumer goods, and likewise I don't think automobile websites are a good place to get informed about the calculus of military deterrence.
