What literature do we study from the 90s?

Fight Club was published in the 90s. That book was responsible for getting a lot of people to read a novel who had previously not been interested in reading.<p>Also, American Psycho deserves a mention.

A bit of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld was squeezed into the ‘90s, so that can join Harry Potter. Both series appear to have had bans in various places, so that’s got to add to their credibility.

Interesting to see William Gibson on the 1980s list and Octavia Butler on the 1990s list. I wonder if Neal Stephenson will end up on more syllabi in the future or will be forgotten.<p>I noted that Watchmen was on the 1980s study list - I wonder if we&#x27;ll see more graphic novels and manga.

The Wheel of Time a huge epic. Got started in 1990.<p>Later completed in 2013 by Sanderson.
