What I did:
1) Select drive with 8TB of data to upload
2) Wait 6 months to upload 4 TB
3) Stop Backblaze software in order to replace hard disk
4) Copy all files from old to new hard disk
5) Mount new hard disk under the same drive letter as the old
6) Turn Backblaze software back on
Result:
All uploaded 4TB are gone.
Contacted Backblaze support, but their response ranges from unhelpful to scary.
Unhelpful: We don't have access to the data in your backup (Actually likely bullshit, someone has, because if you do not encrypt your backup the restoring software clearly has your data)
Scary: "The C drive will need to be selected along with the rest of your drives to ensure … the data to show up on the view/restore page." (I called BS on that, and they didn't deny, but it would be very scary if you need to backup all hard drives if you ever want to restore from a single one.)
