Nice to see a mention of uranium glass [1] which saw a bit of a come back in the Art Glass industry from 1990s onward, it&#x27;s fun stock to work with although it starts to veer into a ceramic glass with more and more metal additions.<p>[1] <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;en.wikipedia.org&#x2F;wiki&#x2F;Uranium_glass" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;en.wikipedia.org&#x2F;wiki&#x2F;Uranium_glass</a><p>The recent threads on the lost Cs-137 sensor slug in Western Australia outed a lot of odd notions about radioactive materials - most elements have isotopes with varying degrees of radioactivity, many aren&#x27;t especially dangerous, few glow or are magically visible to satellites, even those in low orbit.
